One of the indicators of the social maturity of a society is the attitude toward children. In a civil society built on democratic values, child abuse cannot be ignored, since it has grave social consequences.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Interior Affairs, every year in Ukraine there are up to
4,000 cases of child sexual abuse, apparently no more than 400-500 criminal cases are opened and
only in 40-50 cases thosepedophiles are convicted.
In addition, hundreds of children suffer daily from bullying in Ukrainian schools. Death groups claim
the lives of dozens of teenagers every year, and about 500,000 pedophiles are active online every
day.
At the same time 85% of Ukrainian parents do not know how to protect their children from these
types of crimes. And 90% cannot even recognize the main markers of their children falling under the
influence of pedophiles. And, unfortunately, the danger is only noticed by cyberpolice when it is too
late.
Because of insufficient knowledge and lack of information, children all over the world suffer from
psychological and physical abuse.
The portal we plan to create is dedicated to protect children from many types of crimes against
children. Both parents and children will be able to find information that will protect them, as well as
allow them to notice the danger in time and not to fall under the influence of criminals and
pedophiles.
We believe that constant joint work to increase the level of protection of children from
cybercriminals will minimize the percentage of children's psychological traumas and open the way to
raising a healthy, successful and prosperous democratic society.
